Flying: At just 40 minutes drive Carcassonne is the closest airport to Montazels, with 2 Ryanair flights a day from Stansted. There are Hertz & Eurocar car hire offices at the airport plus a shuttle bus to the station for a train to Couiza/Montazels, (10 minutes walk to the house). Easyjet fly from Gatwick to Toulouse which is 90 minutes drive from the house. The other options are Stansted to Perpignan (1 hours rive), Luton,Bournemouth,Blackpool,Bristol,Newcastle,Liverpool,Stansted,Dublin,Glasgow or East Midlands to Gerona in Spain (2,5 hours drive). Bristol or Luton to Beziers (90minutes drive).

Ferry/Drive: It takes roughly 12 hours to drive from Boulogne.

By Train: Let the train take the strain from Waterloo to Couiza/Montazels via Paris, Toulouse & Carcassonne by SNCF.
